The app takes a little while to get used to, but then the interface starts making sense. Finding some foods is odd, "acorn squash" cant be found? Hard to believe. But there are hundreds of entries for "squash". Like many foods, the values are all over the place. There needs to be some curating of the foods library to consolidate and remove duplicates and junk. Finding foods can be tricky. Do you look for "Chocolate Milk", "Milk, Chocolate" etc. Woe is me if Im searching for a food that is more than one word. The barcode scanner is very effective. Between that and "Recents", it eventually becomes very quick to update meals. When you enter a food, it looks like the app uses the last meal used- so you may get "Dinner" first thing in the morning. It should default based on time of day- but this is a minor quibble. My biggest recommendation is that the app is just a black hole. You feed tons of data in. What do I get back? I would like to see graphs over time. Export to an Excel file at least. Other types of feedback that combine app/software intelligence, nutritional knowledge, and my data.
