Only half good.
Mm+ is a great app for tracking your macros IF you input all the data yourself.
It has promising features such as a barcode scanner and a searchable food database, however they are both inadequate.
The barcode scanner works, but I find myself having to edit the nutritional information because it never matches up with the actual food label.
The database is a complete let down. Any user can input information so there are HUNDREDS of unreliable and inaccurate nutritional information. There is an option to select "verified only" but mm+s food database is sorely lacking. They dont even have common foods such as carrots..
In summary, mymacros+ is a great app, but not yet complete. It takes a lot of work on the users end to track their macros properly. There are features that, in theory, would make the app an extremely useful and convenient tool, but instead I find myself slaving away on my phone for 10 minutes to track one snack. :/
The developers really need quality checks on the info that makes it into their database and someone to input a plethora of verified foods.
If users want to create their own info thats fine, but it should not be in the searchable database. Too much room for error.
PLEASE MAKE THESE FIXES - this app has such potential to be perfect!!
